“It’s such a cool think to get to play such a complex female character, I agree. There’s not a lot of that, certainly from that time period as a whole. The industry is really starting to embrace stronger female characters, and the show did an awesome job of having other strong female characters, like Winona’s character and Millie’s character, who are really strong and maybe not the typical female role.”
